METAL FABRICATOR
SummitWest Signs is looking for an experienced metal fabricator to join our team. Located in Gilbert, Arizona (Phoenix Metro Area); we are a commercial sign company that is growing as fast as Phoenix. We are ranked in the top ten largest sign companies in Arizona and we anticipate breaking into the top 5 this year. Our primary emphasis is architectural signs and commercial signs. But, we also operate a retail sign shop for local and walk-in business.
SummitWest Signs is a full-service commercial sign company serving the American southwest for over 15 years. We have produced sign solutions for clients in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas. In addition to our main facility in Arizona, we also have a sales office in Las Vegas, Nevada.
We are looking for someone with particular experience in the following areas:
Sign Cabinets ---Aluminum and Sheet Metal ---Extrusion and Custom ---Basic box and Custom Shapes ---Electrical Wiring Sign Faces ---Flat Faces with Routed out Copy ---Pan Faces with Routed out Copy ---Polycarbonate Faces ---Zip Track Pan Channel Letters ---Aluminum and Sheet Metal ---Face Illuminated with Plastic Faces ---Reverse Pan Channel ---Hand made and Automated ---Electrical Wiring Post and Panel Signs ---Aluminum and Sheet Metal ---Extrusion and Custom Job Flow ---Scheduling ---Inventory Management (for this department) Finishing ---Material Prep for next stage of production Materials ---Aluminum ---Steel ---Copper
This is a production position in a busy, deadline oriented commercial sign manufacturing shop.
The ideal candidate will possess experience building a variety of the types of signs listed above. The candidate will be proficient in a wide variety of metal working skills. He or she must be able to look at a set of drawings and determine how to build a structure from scratch. Knowledge of installation techniques would be a great benefit.
