SERVICE TECHNICIAN
SummitWest Signs is looking for an experienced service technician to join our team. Located in Gilbert, Arizona (Phoenix Metro Area); we are a commercial sign company that is growing as fast as Phoenix. We are ranked in the top ten largest sign companies in Arizona and we anticipate breaking into the top 5 this year. Our primary emphasis is architectural signs and commercial signs.
SummitWest Signs is a full-service commercial sign company serving the American southwest for over 15 years. We have produced sign solutions for clients in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas. In addition to our main facility in Arizona, we also have a sales office in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Experience in the following areas required:
Electrical Service ---Wiring ---Lamps & Ballasts ---Neon & Trasformers ---Time Clocks ---Photocells ---Sign Cabinets ---Channel Letters
General Repairs ---Re-Installing Signs ---Repairing Damaged Signs ---Inspecting & Troubleshooting Signs
This position, while primarily service oriented, will also require some installation as needed:
Fabrication and Installation of Monument Signs Various installation methods of Dimensional Lettering Post and Panel Installation Electrical Sign installation – including neon Channel Letter service and installation Ability to climb ladders and use a boom lift
Experience in the following areas would be an added plus:
Stucco Work Masonry Work Welding and Metal Work
Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, building construction and a keen eye for detail is a must. Good client communication skills is also necessary.
